We love fall weddings. We also love to shoot weddings with a lot of original DIY decorations. From the rustic shabby chic wedding favors, wired "we do" cake toppers, down to the last creative detail, Jayleen and Alex's day reflects their love of the nature and outdoors. A very romantic and intimate wedding with their closest friends and family, they had their ceremony at the quaint Minoru Chapel and reception at the Brix Restaurant. Towards the end of the night, toasts and speeches were heartwarming, and we had so much fun capturing photos of fun and dancing. Without a doubt, Jayleen and Alex are "the perfect blend".
Congratulations! Thank you, Jayleen and Alex for letting us be a part of your special day!
Don't forget to check out their engagement photos!
Who needs a limo when you've got the Skytrain? After getting ready at the Opus Hotel, we hopped onto the train and headed for the chapel! Fall is one of our favorite seasons to shoot - vibrant yellow and green colors were perfect backdrops for the groomsmens' photos.
Meanwhile, Jayleen and the girls were getting ready...
Minoru Chapel for the "priceless" first look.... (Jayleen looked gorgeous!) and a few bridal party shots before the ceremony began.
The Chapel is an amazing location for an intimate wedding. We loved the ceremony decor!
Since we had some extra time, we took some more stunning bridal party shots around the lake and at the Yaletown Roundhouse.
One of our favorite reception location, Brix Restaurant. Jayleen and Alex did a wonderful job with the DIY decor!
